    Co-Founder, Owner

    To truly empower oneself is to care for oneself. Amber believes all women require a place where they feel supported, safe, and are able to recharge and regroup while taking care of both body and mind. These essential practices not only enhance their own life, but the lives of those around them. 

    Amber’s years of experience in the health and wellness industry have led her to become a co-founder of CELÉ. Amber’s dedication to the success of Celé and excitement to educate women drives her passion to bring this sanctuary to the community.  

  • Emily Trowbridge

    Co-Founder, Owner, Fitness Instructor

    Emily Trowbridge, a dancer and educator, elegantly merges her classical training and active living to empower women through movement. From her formative years immersed in dance, to her distinguished academic pursuits at the University of Southern California—where she earned a Bachelor's degree, Teaching Credential, and Master's of Science in Educational Psychology—Emily has cultivated a profound understanding of the human potential.

    Emily experienced the transformative power of barre after the birth of her first child, a moment of rediscovery that ignited a profound passion. She experienced firsthand the gentle yet powerful reshaping of both body and mind, sparking her mission to become a certified barre instructor. Emily understands the heart of group fitness: the shared energy, the supportive environment, the joy of moving together. It's this beautiful synergy that fuels her dedication to group fitness at CELÉ. Her classes are a sanctuary, a space where women can reconnect with their bodies, cultivate inner peace, and discover their inherent resilience.

    Emily's journey is a testament to the power of passion transformed into a life’s purpose. What began as a personal goal to reclaim her own strength has blossomed into a mission to empower women to embrace their full potential. She leads CELÉ with gentle strength and a loving heart, creating a community where women feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

  • Tara Selleck

    Co-Founder, Owner, Esthetician

    With a passion for clean living and the benefits of natural products to every aspect to the mind and body, Tara has embraced her soul’s purpose to care for and inspire her clients. Having embraced this lifestyle wholeheartedly in 2008, her devotion to her craft leads her to pursue continual training and education pertaining to her business. Striving to provide her clients with the best, she specializes in holistic treatments, yet is highly knowledgeable in an array of different state of the art modalities and results-driven treatments. 

    Noticing a need for support and a place of solace for her female community, she is dedicated and passionate about CELÉ becoming the exact destination gym and spa the community needs.

  • Genevieve Jackson

    General Manager

    Genevieve Jackson, General Manager of Celé Gym, Spa, and Wellness Center, brings a unique blend of experience and passion to her role. A graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in Public Relations, Genevieve boasts an extensive background in marketing and a proven track record of successfully managing boutique fitness studios and spas. Her hands-on experience as a fitness instructor, teaching spin and VersaClimbing classes, further fuels her understanding of the wellness industry. Having relocated to California three years ago, Genevieve has been with Celé since its inception, even before its official public opening, playing a crucial role in curating memberships and crafting the exceptional member experience Celé is known for. Genevieve's leadership style is empowering, optimistic, and encouraging, focused on instilling passion and confidence in her team. She thrives on connecting with people and sharing her enthusiasm for fitness, healthy living, and celebrating the body. As a devoted mother to a five-year-old daughter, she prioritizes teaching confidence, self-love, and kindness. Genevieve's dedication to holistic well-being and her vibrant personality make her an invaluable asset to the Celé community.

  • Lianne Lebowski

    Assistant Manager and Esthetician

    With a deep belief in wellness and living authentically, Lianne embraces the power of manifestation and introspection, especially through life’s challenges. A licensed esthetician with 10 years of experience, she finds joy in being of service and helping others feel their best inside and out. Lianne is also passionate about the power of community, valuing the connections and support it brings.

    Outside of her work at Celé, you can find her hiking with her dogs, soaking up the peacefulness of the beach, or browsing the local farmers market for fresh hummus and flowers. Having explored many corners of the world with her husband. Her favorite destination so far? Japan, where she was captivated by the culture, beauty, and tranquility.And when it’s time to unwind, she enjoys a spot of English tea with a splash of milk.

  • Shannan Pastorius

    Lead Fitness Instructor

    Shannan Pastorius is a highly accomplished figure in the world of competitive cheerleading and fitness. With a vibrant background as a competitive cheerleader, Shannan quickly rose to prominence through her dedication and talent. She transitioned seamlessly from athlete to coach, leading cheerleading teams from high school to collegiate levels, and guiding elite all-star cheerleading teams to success with her expertise and motivational skills.

    In addition to her cheerleading accomplishments, Shannan is a certified instructor in Barre, Mat Pilates, Strength Training, Personal Training, and High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Her passion for fitness extends to running, where she has proudly completed multiple RunDisney marathons, reflecting her love for Disney and the joy it brings. Shannan's enthusiasm for Disney is infectious, and she often incorporates its whimsical spirit into her fitness programs, creating a unique and engaging experience for her clients.

    Shannan is deeply committed to fostering inclusive relationships and helping individuals connect with their inner selves. She is passionate about bringing incredible energy to every endeavor and encourages others to embrace and love their own skin, promoting self-acceptance and confidence. With her dynamic personality and unwavering dedication, Shannan Pastorius continues to inspire and uplift those around her, making a lasting impact in the world of fitness.

  • Jess Cervantes

    Yoga Instructor, Social Media Director

    Jessica’s yoga journey began in 2020 during a time of uncertainty, as she turned to yoga to ground herself and find calm. What began with online classes soon grew into a deep passion, leading her to explore beach yoga, local studios, and workshops, immersing herself in the practice.

    Jessica is a certified yoga instructor with 200-hour and 300-hour Vinyasa training and a foundation in Ashtanga yoga. She focuses on creating a supportive, welcoming space where students feel safe to explore their practice at their own pace.

    As a teacher, Jessica aims to guide her students in connecting with their breath, cultivating awareness, and moving with intention. Her classes emphasize mindfulness and presence, offering a moment to step out of the mind and into the body. Jessica honors the lineage of yoga and the teachers who have shared their wisdom while embracing her journey as a lifelong student, always learning alongside her students.

  • Alexis Montagna

    Pilates Instructor

    Alexis Montagna is a Pilates enthusiast. She tried her first class at 18 and was hooked instantly. Alexis enjoyed her own personal practice so much that she decided to become an instructor. She attended a traditional certification program called Body Arts and Science. Alexis began teaching right after completing the course for about 5 years. She then entered the corporate world.

    During that time, Alexis got married and started her family all while still maintaining her own practice and working with a few select clients. But, during that time she realized how much she missed being with clients daily, so she stepped back into the studio to teach, got yet another certification. From then on, Alexis has done multiple workshops and CEC to further her knowledge and fine tune her teaching style, became a lead instructor and mentor. Alexis wants to bring her best to her clients each and everyday. Come find her in the studio and say hi!

  • Ali Simon

    Dance, Barre, Mat Pilates Instructor

    Ali is a fitness instructor, holistic nutritionist, and professional dancer born and raised in Los Angeles. Ali has danced on Broadway stages, toured internationally, and danced with a variety of musical artists. Ali also holds her Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Columbia University. Her adoration of movement has always gone hand in hand with dance, but after an almost career-ending knee surgery and battle with a chronic health condition, Ali absolutely fell in love with the healing powers of movement.

    Ali is certified in Pilates Mat 1 and Mat 2, Dance Cardio, Barre, and Indoor Cycling. Ali is also a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner focused on healing acne, hormonal health, anti-aging, and longevity. Ali’s first love was dance, and she loves helping others feel free and confident, find themselves, and have fun through movement.

  • Brandon Campbell

    Personal Trainer

    Brandon has been training for over 23 years. He has a degree in Kinesiology and a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology. Brando specializes in mobility and stability, strength training, injury prevention, recovery, weight gain/loss, and alignment. Brandon uses his expertise in both cupping and scraping treatments.

    Aside from training, Brandon is a full blown Star Wars Nerd and enjoys spending time with his wife and baby on the way!

  • Brenda Shearer

    Yoga Instructor

    Yoga was a physical practice for Brenda to fix what was broken on the outside from running, boxing and living. Her yoga journey began when it started to heal her inner cracks and untangle the things that held her stuck where she no longer wished to be.

    The yogic path of breath, movement and inner energy to balance her outer world is a gift she hopes to always share with anyone who steps foot on their mat. Brenda designs classes to challenge the body, deepen the breath and calm the mind...and always build a bit of sweat.

  • Erin Shachory

    Yoga Instructor

    Erin Shachory fell in love with yoga 25 years ago and received her R-YT at Santa Monica Yoga in 2017 for teaching a trauma-informed and permission-based blend of hatha and vinyasa style yoga. She has taught at Santa Monica Yoga and Agoura Power of Yoga, as well as private instruction. She believes in teaching people, not poses, so her class is structured to build a solid foundation of resilience from within through intentional flow, deep stretches and longer holds. Off the mat, Erin is a writer, Board chair of Lidè Haiti, and the co-founder and co-host of the Postcards from Italy podcast. 

  • Federico Balet

    Personal Trainer

    Federico Balet is beyond excited to join the CELE Wellness team. Prior to his strength and conditioning journey, he was a collegiate and professional baseball player. As a fitness professional and strength coach he has worked at the professional and collegiate level in mens and womens sports. His most recent stints came as a Strength and Conditioning coach for the San Diego Padres and as a performance coach and cornerman for UFC Fighters. Outside of performance and strength work Federico has helped numerous clients with their return to play and rehabilitation needs. His passion for the field and helping others drives him to continue to grow in biomechanics and exercise prescription to better impact athletes. One of his greatest passions is helping clients navigate the everyday changing world of strength and conditioning and athlete regeneration.

    On his down time Federico loves to explore movement in yoga, skating, jujitsu, and visit the beach, parks, and trails with his pups.

  • Jenna Celotti

    Pilates Instructor

    Jenna says pilates is her happy place! She discovered pilates when she was looking for relief from low back pain. After a few sessions on the reformer, Jenna fell in love with its healing power. Incorporating pilates into her everyday routine has truly been life-changing.

    Jenna holds a reformer and mat certification from Pilates Sports Center, an internationally recognized teacher training program. She loves teaching creative flows that challenge your core and inspire you to take your practice to the next level. Her goal is to make your pilates experience fun and fulfilling! Outside the studio, Jenna enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son. From hiking the Santa Monica mountains to Malibu beach days, there’s nothing Jenna loves more than being with family.

  • Ladan Babaeian

    Yoga Instructor

    Growing up in an active household I've always felt the passion for movement and the wonders it does with both physical and mental well-being. Yoga has been both a physical and emotional outlet, allowing me to disconnect from the outside chatter and reconnect within. Yoga creates a space for me to process my thoughts and emotions, reset, and walk off my mat a little lighter. My goal is to create this space for students to feel the internal connection while creating a safe space to do so.

  • Lana Becerra

    Yoga Instructor, Front Desk Associate

    Yoga came into my life during a challenging time, and it completely transformed me in the best way possible. Through movement, breath, and mindfulness, I found healing, strength, and balance—and now, sharing that gift with others is my greatest joy! After completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, I knew teaching was my true path. I’ve since expanded my expertise with 50-hour Yoga Sculpt and 100-hour Mat Pilates certifications, and this October, I’ll be continuing my journey with a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training!

    I’m not only an instructor but also part of the front desk team, where I love welcoming clients, helping them feel at home, and making sure they have the best experience possible. Whether I’m at the desk or on the mat, my goal is to create a warm, supportive space where everyone—whether brand new or experienced—feels seen, encouraged, and empowered.

    One of my favorite classes to teach is Power Pilates Princess — a playful yet challenging blend of yoga, sculpt, and Pilates, designed to tone, stretch, and strengthen while making you feel like royalty. Using resistance bands, light weights, and dynamic flows, you’ll build core control, balance, and confidence while having fun!

    Whether we’re flowing in class or chatting at the front desk. You’ll leave feeling stronger, lighter, and ready to take on life with renewed energy!

  • Lauren Walsh

    Dance Instructor

    Lauren began dancing at the age of four and continues to train in almost every style of dance.  She became a certified PlyoJam dance fitness instructor in 2018 and has experience teaching at numerous studios across Los Angeles.  Lauren has a passion to engage her students in a highly energetic and therapeutic way.  She is always the first one to start a dance party and she can’t wait to Celé the Dance Floor with all of you!

  • Marlena Creasy

    Fitness Instructor

    Marlena Creasy is NASM Certified and has been involved in fitness for over 10 years professionally and many more years personally.  Marlena is also trained in Les Mills BodyPump, Tone, BodyBalance, RPM, bootcamp, HIIT, and indoor cycle. 

    Marlena has a deep passion about fitness and the members she works with. There’s nothing of more value to her than helping somebody go through an experience that makes them happy, confident, and strong.

    Getting started can be tough,  Marlena will be there for you and help you discover the benefits and joys of fitness that helped her become the person she is today. She is here to be inspiration and guide you every step of the journey.

    For Marlena, a healthy lifestyle is much more than just lifting weights. It’s about stretching, warming up, eating healthily, and getting the necessary rest. She loves helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of with just right balance.

    Personally, Marlena enjoys craft projects, going to Disneyland, being outside walking on the beach and spending  time with her family.

  • Sophia Rasmussen

    Personal Trainer

    Sophia is an exercise physiologist, certified from the National Academy you of Sports Medicine, and completed her bachelor’s degree of science in exercise science from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is currently completing her masters degree in applied nutrition and dietetics from University of New England to become a registered dietician. Sophia played collegiate volleyball for four years, and enjoys bringing out the athletic side of anyone into their fitness routine. During her bachelor’s program, Sophia ran a cancer-related fatigue resistance program for cancer patients actively receiving chemotherapy. Her research during her studies included magnesium supplementation on athletes, and she received a QI grant for this initiative.

    She has also worked with NFL and college football players in Florida during her collegiate years in the performance and nutrition sectors. Sophia enjoys instructing personal training sessions and classes that incorporate weights, cardio, flexibility, and resistance bands. In her spare time, she enjoys remaining active through scuba diving, hiking, running, and traveling.

    Vanessa de Arce is a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor(NCPT) with a rich background in professional dance spanning over two decades. Her passion for movement and creativity shines through in every class she teaches. Vanessa is dedicated to motivating, inspiring, and uplifting her students, ensuring a personal and interactive approach that fosters growth and confidence. With her extensive experience and infectious enthusiasm, she creates a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

    Hannah is a Pilates instructor with three years of teaching experience, complemented by ten years of personal practice. She has worked with students of various skill levels and is passionate about guiding individuals to connect with their bodies and experience positive movement. Hannah aims to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment in her classes, customizing each session to address individual needs and goals. Outside of her teaching, she enjoys matcha and spending time outdoors.

  • Afsoun Rahimian

    Fitness Instructor

    She is a passionate and dedicated fitness instructor with a mission to empower women through movement. Her diverse background in strength training, kickboxing, barre, HIIT, cardio, and core movement allows her to bring a dynamic approach to fitness that caters to all levels. Whether clients are looking to build strength or improve endurance, her goal is always for them to have fun while breaking a sweat and leave feeling empowered and strong. Outside of instructing, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

  • Laurén Janyne

    Fitness Instructor

    Laurèn has been a Certified Fitness Trainer for over 15 years, with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Minor in Exercise Science. As a Fitness Trainer, Mat Pilates Instructor, and Nutritionist Laurèn is dedicated to helping people transform their lives through movement and nourishment. With a personal passion for fitness, she designs dynamic and functional group workouts that challenge and inspire participants of all fitness levels. Her Strength & Pilates classes focus on building deep core strength, flexibility, and body awareness, providing a balanced and effective workout. In addition to exercise, she offers nutrition guidance to support optimal health and fitness goals. Her main focus is to educate and empower clients to become the best version of themselves through movement, well-being and self care.

    Esthetician

    Jennifer is a Licensed Aesthetician with six years of experience. She specializes in product and ingredient knowledge and is passionate about helping her clients achieve the best level of success with their skin. She takes the time to educate you with any questions you may have while ensuring you have a relaxing and healing experience. Jennifer appreciates the importance of optimizing her clients level of results by understanding what their skin type is and what their skin’s specific needs are. Jennifer truly cares about the health and wellbeing of her clients skin and ultimately that shines through with the level of care and detail she dedicates to each individual client that comes to see her.

    She is trained in gua sha, lymphatic drainage, Celéstial massage, dermabrasion, lash and brow tint, brow lamination, lash lifts, brow shaping/waxing etc. Jennifer is truly passionate about what she does and has multiple years of experience transforming her clients skin. She understands beautiful skin starts from within and getting facials to treat the skin is just one aspect of the wellness journey - creating a safe and loving space to promote relaxation and wellbeing is her first priority.

  • Alysia Manzano

    Massage Therapist and Body Sculpt Specialist

    Alysia is a versatile professional, a true "jack of all trades." She works in property management, practices massage therapy, and specializes in body sculpting. With a career in the wellness industry dating back to 2016, Alysia demonstrates a genuine passion for helping others achieve their best physical and mental well-being.

    She holds a particular enthusiasm for body sculpting, recognizing its dual benefits of body contouring and immune system enhancement through white blood cell stimulation. Her unique technique also focuses on skin tightening and detoxification. Alysia invites clients to visit her in the Sol room at the spa for a personal consultation.

  • Jackie Perkins

    Massage Therapist

    Jackie has been a massage therapist for 26 years. Along with Hot Stone, body and scalp treatments , pregnancy , deep tissue she infuses her massages with Reiki which she is at level 2.  Each massage is designed especially for your needs. Jackie has 2 daughters , 1 granddaughter and her special needs dog Daisy. She loves the beach and traveling.

  • Justin Formanek

    Massage Therapist

    Justin's journey into massage started 2018.  Coming from a dance background he has a wide encompassing modalities and knowledge to pull from.  His approach focuses on individual clients needs, and finding a balance of physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.  Whether that's with deep tissue and breath work, or a light massage focused on reiki and emotional wellbeing.  

    Justin's in depth knowledge of the body combined with his intuitive touch allows him to create a safe space to let go of stressors and anything impacting you outside the massage room.   Whether it manifests in muscle tension, stress, or emotional hindrance he makes sure you feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and relieved at the end of your massage. 

    Justin is trained in modalities from Reiki, and Swedish, to Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and Reflexology. Continuously learning way that the body holds stress, trauma, and pains to better help whoever comes to see him.

    Tara Joan is a Licensed Esthetician with over 20 years of experience in the skincare industry. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve radiant, healthy skin while creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience during every treatment. Tara is highly skilled in understanding various skin types and conditions, allowing her to tailor each service to her client’s unique needs.

    With advanced training in product knowledge, dermaplaning, LED light therapy, lash and brow tinting, brow shaping, scalp treatments, and more, Tara combines expertise with a thoughtful, holistic approach to skincare. She believes that glowing skin starts from within and works to educate her clients about the connection between skincare, self-care, and overall wellness.

  • Marissa Frausto

    Massage Therapist, Craniosacral Therapy (CST) specialist

    Marissa is a certified Craniosacral Therapy practitioner with 10 years of experience in the field. With a background in massage therapy, Marissa specializes in using gentle, non-invasive manipulation of the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord to enhance the body's natural healing processes and maintain balance. Her approach fosters deep relaxation, helps relieve pain and stress, and supports overall well-being.
    Through careful attention to the craniosacral system, Marissa helps clients address a variety of physical and emotional concerns, from chronic pain and tension to anxiety, trauma recovery, and even emotional blockages.   • Crystal Quayle

    Sound/Breath + Reiki Guide

    Crystal has an abundant background in Elementary Education combined with a deep-rooted passion for dance, creative arts, mindfulness, meditation and movement.

    Upon starting her own family, Crystal recognised the need to address lingering childhood wounds. Her two daughters became her catalysts for change, inspiring her own healing journey.

    About three years ago, Crystal discovered Breathwork, which swiftly became her weekly motivation for personal transformation and discovery. Through this practice, she connected with her ancestors, journeyed around the world, and joyfully healed old wounds. This practice has allowed her to expand and soften her heart, in ways that she couldn’t before.

    After immersing herself in weekly breathwork practice for a year and a half, Crystal enrolled in the Alchemy Breathwork Facilitator training with Jodi Joy. She graduated with enthusiasm and is now eager to inspire others on their healing experiences.

    As a certified Alchemy Breathwork Facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and sound practitioner, Crystal integrates movement, music, and mindfulness into her healing sessions. Sound has been a cherished addition to her healing toolkit, infusing her life with love and light.

  • Abby Brandi

    Breathwork Facilitator, Reiki Practitioner, and Meditation Guide

    Abby Brandi is a Conscious and Connected Breathwork facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and meditation guide with a deep passion for supporting others on their healing journeys. Drawing from her background as a Speech-Language Pathologist, Abby integrates both holistic and clinical approach to help individuals achieve balance, clarity, and emotional well-being. She creates a safe, nurturing space where clients can reconnect with their bodies and minds, unlock their inner potential and cultivate lasting transformation. Through her work, Abby fosters a sense of awareness, compassion, and connection, guiding individuals toward a more grounded and centered life.

  • Arielle Mendoza

    Front Desk Sales Associate

    Arielle is a front desk/sales associate at CELÉ, where she takes pride in welcoming members and fostering a positive, supportive environment. She is passionate about self-care and wellness, especially in relation to chronic illness, and is always eager to help others feel empowered on their wellness journey.

    Outside of work, Arielle loves baking sweets and cooking traditional Filipino dishes. She enjoys playing cozy video games and watching anime with her partner and her senior cat Ryo, finding both relaxation and joy in these hobbies and quality time spent with loved ones. Stop by the front desk and say hi to Arielle!

  • Chloe Kindred

    Front Desk Sales Associate

    With a long history in customer service and a passion for the wellness industry, Chloe brings a friendly and approachable energy to the front desk at Cele. Originally from Missoula, Montana, Chloe recently made the move to California after graduating from the University of Montana.

    When not at the front desk, you can find Chloe in Emily's Barre class or Shannan's Peach Perfect, or at home hanging out with her cat Penny Lane. She loves reading, going to the movies, or catching up on her favorite shows. At Cele, Chloe is always eager to try new aspects of wellness and fitness, and they're excited to support members as they embark on their own fitness journeys!

  • Danielle Janvrin

    Front Desk Sales Associate

    Danielle is one of the friendly faces at the front desk of Celé Wellness. She enjoys being part of a supportive community of women and watching it grow. Danielle is always happy to assist, ensuring clients feel welcome. With a personal interest in mental health, she believes in the importance of self-care and strives to contribute to a space where clients can prioritize their well-being. Danielle is dedicated to fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere at Celé Wellness where women of our community can thrive together!

  • Rio Fitzgerald

    Front Desk Sales Associate

    Rio combines her passion for mental health and wellness by supporting others in reaching their goals. Outside of working behind the desk, she enjoys working out, indulging in self-care, and is a full-time masters student. Rio believes CELÉ is a sanctuary that every woman could benefit from.
